I was recently introduced to a New York comic whose one-liners are worthy of Stephen Wright himself. One a day, my friends, one a day:

sounds like my kind of comic. i like these quotes - this one reminds me of a baseball player's goal and hobbies being shown on the scoreboard during a game...

goal: to stop all the killing in the world.
hobbies: hunting and fishing.
