Failed again in 2006

For the second time in a row, I failed to read 50 books in a calendar year. Both times I was less than 10 short of the goal, but short I fell nonetheless. Here are the 40-something books I did finish last year; my only qualm is, should I count books I use repeatedly at work, such as my students' texts, in 2007 as well?

45 books read in 365 days is mighty impressive. well done dude. how'd you manage two full seasons of lost amongst all that pageturning? as for work books - if you actually read the books each time, count 'em. it's not a list of brand-new-to-you books read - or is it?

where's your soundtrack?

scexme.

That's the best word verification all day.

Hmm. Oh, right. Comment.

Um, are you going to kick at the can again this year? 50 books seems like a tenable goal; I used to read that much in a month. Back when I was younger and freer. And dweebier. And had no life. Ah, the teen years. They were so much fun.

A very respectable list. :) I'm curious as to what you thought of some of these.

I recently finished the entire Sandman series, btw.
